What To Do With A Usual Battery Issue Of Laptops

It can be so annoying when at one moment you are sitting there working on your laptop, and then without any warning, everything on the screen just disappears and all you are left with is a blank screen! The laptop has mysteriously switched off.

Obviously, the first thing that you are going to check are all your leads to make sure the power cable has not come loose and inadvertently shut down your laptop. If this is not the case and your power adapter is still plugged in correctly, then the first thing to try is to unplug your adapter and try to do a power cycle.

This is a simple routine and can be done in just a few minutes. Firstly, unplug your laptop from the power source. Then remove any external devices if there are any plugged into your laptop.

Once you have completed those steps you need to remove your battery. After removing the battery from your laptop, just press and hold your power button down.

This step, although sounding strange, does work in many of these cases, especially for laptops. When a laptop is used for long periods of time it can cause static to build up around the internal parts.

The static build up can cause the laptop to shut itself off at times. Sometimes you could use this routine if your broadband connection is playing up.

The final steps in this cycle are to check both the battery and power source separately. If your laptop is working on the battery but will not work with the power source there is a good chance that the adapter needs replacing. If, on the other hand, your laptop works fine with the power but will not operate with the battery alone, then the batter has to be replaced.

Some laptops have warning lights for different errors. If this is the case with your laptop, then you should just be able to check the user's manual for any faults.
